Hi everyone! I'm Yuki, a Machikoko staff member. I started working part-time at Machikoko this month.

Today, I'll be talking about the production of the 'MACHICOCO Monthly Report,' which is published every month by MACHICOCO.

■ Machikoko Monthly Report: "Just tell me what's actually in it."
...You're right, I'm sorry for only showing the cover photo each month to encourage subscriptions. Machikoko Monthly Report ▶︎ This 10-page booklet is packed with content that approaches manufacturing from various perspectives, such as introducing consultations we've received from customers in our activities, interesting initiatives by local factories that we're collaborating with on projects, and staff members asking our representative, Toya, questions on various themes such as "How to Consult About Manufacturing" and "Recruiting Personnel for Local Factories."

■Why did you start making it?
To be honest, it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing.It all started with a casual conversation like, "In this age of everything being online, there's something special about paper. There's something nice about holding something in your hands and turning the pages." As we continued, we started receiving comments like, "I want to read it," and "I'm looking forward to it" (which made us incredibly happy!), and every month we think about how we can develop it into a magazine that provides even more useful information and is something people look forward to.

We would love to hear any suggestions or comments you may have, such as "I'd like to see more information like this."

■Is there no online version?
And so, it all started with the idea that "paper is great," which is why we're a little particular about delivering it as a booklet. To be honest, we're still figuring things out here. We want to be flexible and change our methods based on customer feedback, but for now, please let us stick with "paper"...!
