Hi everyone! As mentioned in my previous blog post, I'm Aoi from Machikoko staff, and I've stopped looking at the calendar because I'm furiously working towards the February Gift Show. I wouldn't be able to stay sane if I did (I'm just too short on time).
That said, we staff members are only there to support the preparations, so it's the craftsmen from the nine small factories in the Kansai region who are exhibiting together who are working tirelessly every day! Progress is constantly being shared in the group chat like this, and I'm impressed every day by the speed of their responses and their teamwork.
"Leave the painting to me!"or"Taking that into consideration, we'll rethink the design here."It's truly amazing to see how much things can accelerate when professionals from all fields come together.
Each company has its own products, and there was talk of bringing those, but since this is a joint exhibition, we thought there might be something we can do precisely because nine companies are together, something that people will appreciate because we can do the super-speedy baton relay I mentioned earlier... So, we're really creating one booth together.
First, understand each other's strengths.
Each company gave a presentation about "This is the kind of company we are."

We visited the factory with the designer who was producing the booth and brainstormed tons of ideas.
(The designer was super excited about the beautiful acrylic.)

We received real-time updates on the meeting again today! It looks like they're finalizing the details for the collaborative product. I'm so excited...!
As you can see, it's actually quite a lot of work, but we're having fun preparing!
