Hi, this is Aoi from MACHICOCO staff!
The Tokyo International Gift Show is just about a week away. Today and tomorrow, all the products that will be on display will be gathered at MACHICOCO, and the day after tomorrow we'll do a test assembly of the booth and make any necessary improvements.I can't believe that at our first meeting of the new year, we hadn't even decided on the booth concept yet...! The speed at which everyone has brought things to life is truly amazing, and these past two weeks I've been shouting "Wow!" at least 10 times a day.
Although I mentioned that "exhibits are being added one after another...", the exhibits this time are not limited to the products lined up on the shelves. The "MACHICOCO HOUSE" sign in the photo was made by Create Tsukishima, an acrylic processing company and one of the nine companies exhibiting together. (The lighting fixtures pictured with it were also made by Tsukishima.)
This sign is so cute, it's really boosted my spirits!
By the way, this catalog stand was made by a sheet metal shop. The lettering cut out on the side looks really cool... The matte black paint job by the paint shop also looks really cool. On the day of the event, catalogs introducing local factories and product catalogs will be displayed here, but don't miss this stand as well as the catalogs...!
The shelf brackets for the wall-mounted shelves were also custom-made by a sheet metal shop. I remember being so impressed when, during our initial meeting, they said, "Once the booth layout is roughly decided, we'll make them to fit the products you want to display, so feel free to think of whatever you like," and I realized that this is what it means to "make it ourselves"!
So, we hope you'll take a look at more than just the exhibits on the booth shelves on the day of the event! 💪
We're also giving you a sneak peek at other products! Check them out here too ☺️ MACHICOCO HOUSE special site. ▼ Click here
See you again tomorrow!
