Hello! This is Aoi from MACHICOCO staff.
It's February starting today! 💪 The Tokyo International Gift Show is finally starting the day after tomorrow. As I've written about on this blog, it's been a whirlwind two weeks. January was packed with work at about ten times the normal preparation speed. It was so hectic that I can't believe it's only been one month of the year.
What started as a casual discussion at the beginning of January, something along the lines of "Wouldn't it be fun to make something like this?", quickly took shape in just a few days, and today we've successfully reached the day of booth setup.
The product lineup available at the booth on the day will be:MACHICOCO HOUSE Special PageIt's currently on display. Since everything, including the display shelves and tables, was produced by the nine companies exhibiting together, I wonder how many exhibits there actually are...?
As you can see, there will be many items at the booth that aren't listed on the page. Don't just be satisfied with the page; we'd love for you to come and see everything at the venue! (There will also be a live stream!)
By the way, our president is driving to set up the booth today. He's driving all the way from Osaka to Tokyo with all the equipment loaded in his car. (laughs)
I'm a little surprised, but I just received a beautiful photo of Mount Fuji. It seems to have passed through Shizuoka and is steadily approaching Tokyo!I'm also looking forward to hearing updates on the booth setup progress. ☺️
The Gift Show will be held for three days, from the 3rd to the 5th. Ideally, all nine companies would like to go, but given the difficult situation with COVID-19, only MACHICOCO members will be present at the exhibition booth.
We are currently compiling introductory videos for the nine companies featured this time. The artisans will share their thoughts on how they want people to enjoy their time at home with their products. Stay tuned for the videos to be released!
