Hello, this is Chika from Machikoko staff.Yes. Having passed the winter solstice, I'm already eagerly awaiting warmer weather, thinking, "The days are getting longer! Spring is coming!" 🌱
Let me share a story about a heartwarming moment for me.
"Tsukuru Lab," a rental space for creative work, has recently seen a gradual increase in inquiries and usage.
When you try to make things as a hobby or furniture, you often find that the tools you have at home are limited to what you can do, right? 🥺We have a wide variety of machines and tools that can process various materials such as metal, resin, and stone.
"You can really mold metal into any shape you want so easily?!" I'm always amazed by this as a layperson.
We receive all sorts of requests, such as wanting to create original motorcycle parts or modify parts for musical instruments.Participants come not only from Osaka, but also from Hyogo and Wakayama!
They share their passions and niche stories with us,I'm really looking forward to you coming.
One customer wanted to modify their model gun to make it easier to use, so they used a drill press to drill screw holes.
I learned about the world of model guns, and it was so interesting that I couldn't stop grinning... Apparently, they're researching how to create the most beautiful bullet trajectory. It's wonderful how technical skills naturally develop as you pursue your hobbies...!
I recently realized that while I love "making things," I love "people who love making things" just as much.
I feel respect for how enthusiastically and joyfully they are engaged in what they do, as well as for the skills and experience they possess. It makes me want to explore worlds I've never known before, wondering, "What exactly is so appealing and interesting about it!?"
I hope you enjoy all kinds of "making things."
We encourage you to make use of the Creation Lab (see details above),
If you are having trouble obtaining materials,We can provide a variety of materials, including metal and resin, upon request!
Even if you're worried that you might not be able to make it yourself, that's perfectly fine!
Well then, wishing you all a wonderful end of the year, let's keep going a little longer together! 💪
