We have formed a business partnership with Toyosato Metal Industry Co., Ltd., a prototype sheet metal manufacturer specializing in deep drawing.

MACHICOCO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative Director: Kayoko Toya), which contributes to solving challenges and creating the future of the manufacturing industry together with local factories under the slogan "We are a team that creates the future together with local factories!", and Toyosato Metal Industry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashi-Yodogawa Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative: Kenji Iwamizu), which specializes in precision prototype sheet metal processing including deep drawing and 3D laser processing, have concluded a business alliance.

This business partnership will provide services to help companies and individuals who are struggling to bring their ideas to life, such as those who say, "I can't design it...", "I can't do structural design...", "Who should I ask to do it?", "Who should I consult to make it?", "I want to make this product...", or "I don't understand the technology...", to realize their creative vision through the best possible route.

● About MACHICOCO Co., Ltd.

Based in Higashi-Osaka City, a city renowned for its manufacturing, we provide planning, development, sales, and manufacturing services to solve problems related to manufacturing.
Many people probably have no idea what a small factory does, what kind of work they do, or what kind of jobs they take on. On the other hand, those who run small factories may be struggling with how to disseminate information, and are facing challenges such as the transfer of technology and the acquisition of personnel and sales channels that are not being resolved. MACHICOCO is a company that aims to be a bridge between these two parties, creating connections that benefit both sides.

● About Toyosato Metal Industry Co., Ltd.

Located in Higashiyodogawa-ku, Osaka City, we are a specialized prototype sheet metal factory capable of shaping any metal product. Our skilled craftsmen, holding qualifications such as "Osaka Techno Master," "Naniwa Master Craftsman," "Manufacturing Meister," and "First-Class Skilled Craftsman," work with our customers from the initial idea stage to bring their manufacturing projects to life. We strive to contribute to solving manufacturing challenges and create a new future together with our customers. We are a manufacturing company where skilled craftsmen can provide support from design and prototyping to mass production advice.

● Background of the collaboration

The shortage of skilled workers and personnel in Japan's manufacturing industry is accelerating year by year, and the number of companies is decreasing due to closures and other reasons. Furthermore, the training of skilled personnel is not keeping pace. MACHICOCO is concerned about the critical situation in the industry and is developing businesses to solve the problems in the manufacturing industry, such as workshops, skills training courses, and online study sessions.

Amidst this, we encountered Toyosato Metal Industry, which shared our desire to "convey the fun, excitement, and coolness of manufacturing" and "let people know the appeal of the industry." We began collaborating on workshops, skills training, manufacturing, and product development. Through this process, we realized that we could solve this challenge by leveraging the strengths of both parties.

Toyosato Metal Industry (Toyokin) is a prototype sheet metal manufacturer that excels at designing products with structural and construction methods in mind. However, it struggles with providing support beyond manufacturing, such as developing business ideas or commercializing products.

MACHICOCO is an idea maker that excels at not only interpreting customers' ideas so that they can be conveyed to skilled workers, but also working alongside customers to plan, communicate, and bring those ideas to life. However, since it is not a factory, it does not have the facilities to design and manufacture products.

These two companies have partnered to offer a service that meets the needs of those who are not familiar with manufacturing, by each taking on the role of "creating experiences" and "manufacturing products."

● What can be achieved through business partnerships

<Overview>

This service is designed to help those facing manufacturing challenges during the design or idea stage to bring their "I want to make this!" ideas to life.

The defining feature of this service is that on-site workers and idea makers who propose manufacturing concepts work together with the customer from the design stage, bringing ideas to life in the shortest possible time. MACHICOCO handles the design and procurement of materials necessary for commercialization, such as developing sales plans, in addition to manufacturing. Toyosato Metal Industry handles the consideration of materials, manufacturing methods, and design, as well as prototyping. Both parties collaborate to support the customer throughout the commercialization process. Manufacturing other than prototype sheet metal processing is fully supported up to mass production through MACHICOCO's network of local factories that "always bring things to life."

A direct one-way trip to realization, accelerating the process of "creation."

What we hope to achieve with this business partnership is to help people who have something they want to create or an idea they want to bring to fruition as quickly as possible.

Imagine an airplane accelerating rapidly on the runway before takeoff. MACHICOCO, your guide at the factory entrance, and Toyosato Metal Industry, with its skilled craftsmen who are experts in design and manufacturing, work together to dramatically accelerate the realization of your "creation" dreams.

We'll guide you directly to a factory that can definitely bring your ideas to life, and that will definitely bring them to life!

●Future vision

We have already created nine production examples through collaboration. The common thread behind these projects was that local factories were often out of reach because "they didn't know the construction methods" and "it was difficult to consult with them."

Our vision is to create a structured process from initial consultation to realization, lowering the barrier to contacting local factories. We aim to steadily and diligently bring these ideas to life together with passionate individuals who want to create something new and interesting.

Each individual example can be small. We want to be your manufacturing partner, helping you "reliably" bring your ideas to life, and create interesting things and experiences with interesting people! Let's make our dreams come true together!
