MACHICOCO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative Director: Kayoko Toya; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will hold an event on Sunday, January 22nd at the Company's headquarters in Higashi-Osaka City, where parents and children can build Mini 4WD cars and race them on a course.
We had been promoting our program since the end of last year by distributing flyers on our website and at nearby elementary schools, but we reached our recruitment limit in about a week, so we are now closed to applications.
<Features of the Parent-Child Mini 4WD Race!>
- Enjoy a fun hands-on crafting experience with your child.
Mini 4WDs are small, motor-powered car model kits that run on batteries. Parents and children assemble them together following the instructions included in the box. Because they are craft kits, they are easy to complete, making it a fun and accessible way for children who don't usually do crafts to experience making things.
- Experience racing with the machine you built.
Children can choose their favorite Mini 4WD from fifteen different models beforehand, and then immediately race their assembled machines on a specially prepared course. Top finishers will receive fantastic prizes. Participating in the race allows children to immediately test the performance of their built machines.
- Revitalizing local community interaction
We are also seeking sponsorships from local shops and other businesses to provide prizes for the awards, and those who sponsor us will be asked to help with promotion throughout the tournament.
We aim to revitalize the community by actively involving not only local children but also nearby shops.
