MACHICOCO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative Director: Kayoko Toya; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has been running "Little Meister," an after-school program since April of last year, where active craftsmen working in local factories serve as instructors and teach children authentic manufacturing skills. To coincide with the start of the new school term, the company is now recruiting new students by holding free trial sessions.
<What is Little Meister?>
This is an after-school activity where skilled craftsmen who actually work in local factories near Higashi-Osaka City act as instructors, teaching children authentic manufacturing skills. Targeting children in upper elementary school and above, the children will use the same machinery and tools used in local factories to bring their ideas to life.
<Features of Little Meister>
(1) Experience the appeal of manufacturing through hands-on learning.
Instructors who actually work in local factories will guide children through the manufacturing process, allowing them to experience making things using the tools and machinery used in those factories. At Little Meister, children can learn about materials such as metal and plastic, manufacturing methods such as cutting, polishing, and welding iron, and the basic use of tools and machinery. Through this hands-on experience of authentic manufacturing, children will discover the joy and appeal of the craft and develop their critical thinking skills.
(2) Discovering individual "personalities" and "skills" through manufacturing.
In this era of diversity, individual abilities and skills vary greatly. Through Little Meister, children can discover what they want to do in the future and the skills they need to become independent. Find what you want to do! That's Little Meister.
(3) Developing human skills through children working together
As children brainstorm ideas and work together, they develop communication skills, empathy, teamwork, and self-expression.

Target age: Upper elementary school students and older (Adults are also welcome to participate)
Class start date: Every other Tuesday (1st and 3rd)
Class hours: 18:00 - 20:00

*For those arriving by car... While parking spaces are available, please use nearby parking facilities if the lot is full.
Course content: Craftwork, design, drafting, woodworking, metalworking, surface treatment, machinery, etc.
Membership fee: 22,000 yen (tax included)
*Includes registration fee and usage fees for facilities and equipment. Participants will also be provided with a complete set of work clothes and their own toolbox.
Monthly fee: 11,000 yen (tax included)
*This includes monthly practical training material fees, facility usage fees, and annual renewal fees. Additional fees may apply for extracurricular practical training and special classes.
Free trial session: Each prospective participant can experience the course once for free.
